I work in a restaurant in a medium size city and if the products we need can’t get delivered and we have to temporarily close I wouldn’t mind one iota. We are still forced to wear masks at work and frankly a week or two without having to put one on wouldn’t bother me either. At home we are well prepared if grocery shelves dry up even more then they are now. And I also have a friend who is a long haul trucker who warned us to be prepared “just in case”.
I’d be sending more than money if I could get away with it.
Will Trudeau arrest US Truckers if they supply Canadian Truckers with supplies ?
I think we are going to see a move to a more mobile movement now. Roving roadblocks, slow rolling, monkey-wrenching. And possible damage to infrastructure and roads.

The right thing to do is send Obama and Hunter Biden up as a diplomatic team. Obama won a Nobel Peace Prize practically on Day 1 in office and Hunter is the smartest man Joe Biden knows.

Or it could be he’s trying to inflame the situation to the point where some of the truckers resort to violence, and then that gives him the excuse to come down hard on them.
Same as what we suspect about protests here. Many people bemoan that the right is not taking enough action, but if physical action is taken, it gives them the excuse to use the military and crack down hard enough to intimidate others into not trying again.

He reminds me of “The Bird” in the film Unbroken. Pampered rich boy who wanted to play with the big boys, and since he can’t, he abuses power whenever and wherever he can, taking out his frustration on people better than him but in his power, just because he can.
