Californication Governor Newsom is a quite accomplished man, especially given his dyslexia. However, he is dead-wrong on nearly all political matters (I wish he’d have remained in his business career).
The ultimate irony in view of his desire to make Calif an “abortion sanctuary” is that he still claims to be a Christian/Roman Catholic. In this regard, he is much like his distantly=related politico Nancy Pelosi, who while claiming to be a Catholic champions abortion clinics (and she gave a pro-abortion lecture to the Pope).
In short, there’s something very, very wrong/evil about these people.
Good weather will eventually destroy any place that doesn’t have a brutal, totalitarian government to keep the streets clean. You wouldn’t see all those homeless mutants in California if temperatures regularly dropped below 0 there for long stretches of the winter.

Hubby and I were raised in Southern California since our dads retired from the military in the early 60s (USAF & USN). However, we saw the writing on the wall so in 1996 we packed up the kids and left for AZ, which we love. We still have family in California so we go back every few years to visit. TBH the only thing we really miss about California is the ocean, so we’re planning a week long stay in Mission Beach this summer to satiate our yearning for the sea.
Bend’s becoming a “refuge” for the Homofags from SF.
Sad thing is that’s a sweet town and I love going there.
Californians, mostly.
