Researchers are one step closer to making a multi-cancer early detection (MCED) test, that can detect over 50 types of cancer, available to select candidates: those who are age 50 and older, asymptomatic, and considered high risk for the disease.

Is this a test for the presence of cancer cells or the you have DNA that might cause cancer
Yes, but that is only the beginning. When the first Hep C pill came out, the price was $80K. But when two other drug companies came out with competing pills, all of a sudden the price was $25K, or less if you were a national health system with bargaining power.
It is a test for actual cancer - and they can tell which organ it is in.
I can see mandatory testing coming...

This is a little late. But LDH is another important tumor marker blood test that can be helpful.
