My first thought as well.
It does seem to be the most appropriate time to end her political career. However, I perceive her to be a vengeful woman and I highly doubt that she would go quietly. Also, depending on the DNC involvement, might implicate a number of other politicians.
I think it’s more of a play by one or two factions of the Dems. The Biden Administration and supporters and/or factions of Harris and whatever idiots that support her.
They are very worried that Hillary will challenge Joe (or even Harris should Biden not finish his term) for 2024. They have too much invested in their fraud of 2020 to throw it all away on a Hillary who owes them nothing, will bring in her own cabal and leave them nothing, and who still hasn’t shown she could do a real, prolonged campaign.
