We may soon have alternatives to cell towers. One thing being rolled out soon is Starlink, a satellite based internet service that is owned by Elon Musk.
OMG! Just saw that there are 10s of thousands of counter protester marching in Canada demanding the lock-downs and mandates stay in place and be enforced. No way we can coexist with these stupid people.

WE..ordinary Joe and Joelette six-packs can do the exact same thing as the truckers. Use our trucks, cars, tractors to create the same sort of blockades.

The Starlink satellite constellation in serious trouble. Due to the Sun’s rapidly increasing activity (Solar cycle 25 is well under way), the heating of the thermosphere has caused the Earth’s atmosphere to expand into the very low Earth orbit (LEO) of the Starlink satellites.
Because these satellites are very small mass, but have very large solar arrays, the drag coefficient is greatly increased by the expanding thermosphere. The satellites do have inertia wheel systems to assist with boosting their orbits, but the devices are insufficient to overcome the amount of atmospheric drag now impinging upon them. The entire constellation is now in danger of deorbit.
SpaceX just launched 49 additional Starlink satellites earlier this week, and 40 of them failed to achieve orbit.
The central issue is that the NASA space weather forecasters assumed that the Sun was going to remain in its solar minimum cycle, and that cycle 25 was not going to ramp up. They were wrong in their projections, they misinterpreted the data, and they grew complacent.
