I’ve spoken to 100 of the protestors gathered in the Canadian capital. What's happening is far bigger than the vaccine mandates.

They came from across the country. Vaxxed, unvaxxed, white, black, Chinese, Sikh, Indian, alone or with their wives and kids. They huddled around campfires. They set up pop-up kitchens and tents with block captains doling out coffee and blankets. They honked (and honked and honked). They blasted “We Are the World.” And everywhere you looked, someone was waving the Maple Leaf.
It dipped to 4 degrees. The mayor declared a state of emergency. And they didn’t budge.
The truckers were scared of running out of gas—freezing to death in their little truck beds in the middle of the night. The city threatened to arrest anyone who brought it to them. In response, hundreds of Ottawans did just that. The truckers stayed put......
They sound like Ivan, 46, who emigrated, with his wife, Tatiana, from Ukraine to build a new life in New Brunswick, in eastern Canada. "We came to Canada to be free—not slaves,” he said. “We lived under communism, and, in Canada, we’re now fighting for our freedom.” (Like so many truckers, Ivan refused to share his last name.)
B.J. Dichter, a spokesman for the Freedom Convoy, is vaccinated, and he estimates that many—maybe most—of the truckers at the protest are, too. “I’m Jewish. I have family in mass graves in Europe. And apparently I’m a white supremacist,” he told me on Wednesday....
So it’s about something else. Or many things: a sense that things will never go back to normal, a sense that they are being ganged up on by the government, the media, Big Tech, Big Pharma.....

Trudeau and Ford should know peaceful protesting isn’t a blockade or an occupation as it is what democracy looks like; there’s no time limit to protests.
Truckers are letting medical supplies, livestock, etc, through and not attacking blacks and black-owned businesses like we saw in 2020.
Trudeau calls the protesters racist when he was caught wearing blackface. Dems supported blocking roads in 2020, declaring protesting is supposed to make you feel uncomfortable.
Most Canadians have been vaccinated but polls show most Canadians are against mandates. It’s not a choice, it’s an ultimatum being forced on Canadians. Choice means saying no to the jab yet keeping your job, etc. The opposite is tyranny.

The first three are defeats Prague Spring was an embarrassing one. If the Soviet Union had a true Russian like Putin in charge it and the East Block would still exist, with a lot fewer residents. Really determined despots don’t have power taken from this while they live. Ponder that for our future. Wokeism are the enemy has to be killed.
Trudeau has backed himself into a corner now. It is anyone’s guess as to what he will do now.

Trudeau doesn’t ‘feel’ anything for those people.....he just wants them to stop working against what he wants.

It actually reminds me of Lech Walesa and the 1980 shipyard strikes. It didn’t just topple Polish government, it brought down the entire Soviet empire.

Yes it reminds me a little of the Solidarity movement too. We need those Solidarity banners the Poles used.

I would not go to jail over this. If truckers are forced to leave Ottawa and the bridge they should just park their trucks at home and stop working. Period. Libs are saying that the truckers are causing issues regarding commerce in the city. I say park your truck and stop working. Same effect as being on the border in a group. No product delivered anywhere. Libs are bullies and tyrants.
So Trudeau calls you names and threatens you with all sort of harm to you and your family if you do not comply. If it was me I would go home, park my truck and just quit. No more food deliveries. No more parts deliveries. No more ANY product that is delivered by truck. Trudeau thinks he can threaten you and then DEMANDS you go back to work serving the Canadian people? Can you imagine all the stores and companies that will shut down if they cannot get product? If all trucking stops? Canada will quickly become crippled. What will Trudeau say then? What if all truckers all of a sudden feel “sick” and cannot work. Truckers are not getting paid now anyway. And if they are not in the bridge and city they can get the money from the funding that has been sent for them.
So libs and Trudeau call truckers white supremacists’, racists, nazis and threaten to take away your license and throw you in jail. They destroy your property and take away YOUR stuff, like gas, wood, food and the like. When you decide to not work anymore what will he demand then? He threatens you and then wants you to go back to work on his terms? THAT is slavery. Sounds tyrannical to me.
I am very disappointed in the conservative media, Newsmax/OAN, for their lack of coverage. Our gov. Media doesn’t want to cover. I suppose Canada is worse off as far as marxism is in place. Nothing happened in US??
Or just not deliver to Ottawa.
