I think the government is so deep into the authoritarian model that they cannot see that they are in a sort of reverse reward system. The things they would normally do to suppress the protests will now only make it grow.

Whitmer MIGHT be able to offer heavy equipment to a foreign country, but i doubt she can find operators for that as the folks who know how to operate that kind of equipment are highly unlikely to be supporters of Whitmer and are unlikely to show up and start dragging off private trucks against the will of the owners, even IF they know how to drag an 18-wheeler, which narrows the pool of equipment operators even further ... Trudeau REALLY poked the bear one times too many to be able to unpoke it ...
