Ontario Premier Doug Ford has declared a state of emergency in an effort to put an end to the “siege” in Ottawa and Windsor as the truck convoy protests continue to disrupt traffic and prevent the transport of goods across the Canadian border.
Ford made the announcement Friday at Queen’s Park, saying he will convene cabinet and “use legal authorities to urgently enact orders” that will protect international border crossings, as well as the 400-series highways, airports, bridges, ports and railways in the province.
Fines for non-compliances will be severe, the premier said, with a maximum penalty of $100,000 and up to a year imprisonment.

“We’re pulling these passports,” Ford says in the video leaked to Rebel News. “We’re going to get back to normal. I can’t get you the exact date, but it’s going to be very soon. I’ll be speaking over the next few days. Friday I’m going to put out a statement. Monday I’ll be giving some dates. And we’re going to move forward.”
Also bet the Biden Regime is pushing this emergency also. They are hoping this will curtail the Trucker Convey in the USA.

Anyone -- anyone who still doesn't understand that the tyrants (not just in Canada but here, too) have no intention of giving up their power ... and that a peaceful people cannot "comply their way out of tyranny".
Sadly, but necessarily for the cause of Liberty, physical force will most likely be necessary to defeat, remove and punish the tyrants who, at their core, are truly nothing more than power obsessed politicians and unelected bureaucrats. A complete housecleaning is most definitely in order as the alternative is to live under totalitarianism.

Truckers take a slow roll home and park the trucks for the duration. Thereby not letting them win.
They can’t arrest everyone. If the government uses force against peaceful protesters there will be a backlash the world has not recently seen. These Commies need to be sent packing.
