As an Az citizen I agree, this is a very good idea. The liberal city of Phoenix is able to force their city ideology and culture on the whole state which is in reality 90% rural culture. This means 90% of the state is having their voice and culture completely silenced and denied.
But here is the problem, this cannot be done without the approval of the voters in Maricopa county. The liberal numbers will not agree, so it is dead in the water.
This was common along river borders, especially the MISSISSIPPI. You could go to sleep in Mississippi and wake up in Arkansas.........................
When you see that map at rest stops, the upper right portion is all marked “Indian Country”.

I like that split map. That would make it a more even playing field based on true voter parties. The problem is that it would have to be approved by the voters of the current county and liberal numbers. Never happen, dead in the water.
They tried this a couple times with San Bernardino county in Ca, the largest county in the world. And just the numbers in the city of San Bernardino proper alone were enough to override the rest of the counties vote.
That's because The Big CORRUPTION is completely BIPARTISAN!....................
I assume by "have been Republican" you mean past tense, not present, otherwise it's not remotely true. Thirty of Wayne County's 42 suburbs voted for Biden in 2020 and only 12 (mostly very small ones) for Trump; in 2016 Trump took 19 of the 42. Romney in 2012 fared even worse (10 of 42) in the Wayne suburbs than Trump ever did.
My daughter in law is a tribal member (she is 1/8 Cree), she works for Indian Health Services and travels to each of the major tribes here in AZ. She is totally disgusted with how corrupt most of the tribes are. She admits that she is likely only seeing the tip of the iceberg.

After the war the states gave the land to the new Federal government. So someone may have been born in North Carolina but after the war found themself in what was to become Tennessee.
Genealogy means you have to be a student of history are you will soon get lost.
In Mark Twain’s “Life on the Mississippi” he recounts several stories of how the great river would change course at a whim. He, being a riverboat pilot in his younger days, would have to know every inch of the river which could change overnight................
This is a GREAT idea. Let the vote counters in 100% Democrat districts switch half of their votes to Democrat. They will only have Democrat votes to choose from.
That does help, in that the only places they can easily commit fraud are in the districts they control. Shrink them, and it will get harder to manufacture votes.
