I managed to stay under the radar and never got a shot. Looking forward to the empty offices. Oh wait, they’ve already been almost empty for the last 2 years.
Good for you. To stay under the radar can be difficult.
I stopped getting flu shots years ago - while working in a hospital - because they always made me feel sick and sometimes I would miss work. I stopped getting them and my incidences of getting cold/flu symptoms also slowed way down. The last time I was really sick was almost 10 years ago. I’m not anti-vaccination, I just don’t trust the “flu shot.”
So it was kind of a no-brainer for me. I KNEW I wasn’t going to get a shot right from the get-go. It was actually kind of a lucky thing that I wasn’t working when this all started. (I know, how pitiful, right? “Oh, I’m so lucky because I don’t have a job!”)
Mr K (not the one on this forum) was in a bit of a bind at his job because for a few months his boss was really leaning on everyone, but on the other hand, he didn’t require any proof - he just kept saying “get vaccinated!” but hardly anybody did. (A few guys got sick but they are all back at work now.) At this point, he’s (Mr K’s boss) not saying anything further about it and nobody else is talking about it. (He’s the same way about drug testing: He only gets upset if someone is complained about. Then he calls everybody on the carpet and says “I’m going to make you guys start getting random drug tests!” But then he doesn’t: He just expects for them to shape up. Also, he fires people a lot. Like, all the time. There is a continual high turnover at the company.)
Anyway, I truly pity whoever has been forced to take this killer “vaccination.” Unless they voted for ChoMoeJoe.
