Tom Marazzo, an organizer of the Freedom Convoy 2022, just spoke, 6:45 AM Ottawa time.
He said he expects police action today. If so they will be arrested and continue peaceful protest. They have lawyers.
He reiterated that vaccine mandates must end and the federal government must do it in a way that is final.
The talk is about 20 minutes.

Additional buses were reserved (with drivers) for early this AM....coming from the police department. Saw that an hour ago.

I’m a trucker. I think we were moments away from 400 times more disruption in the USA than these Canadian drivers have caused had the Supreme Court not set aside the OSHA private employer mandate. A lot of people are watching this situation. If the statists are determined to light the fuse, it’s gonna burn pretty damned fast—in the US and in Canada.

The truckers have a legitimate reason, that’s why it’s right. There not burning, looting.
This is that point where the boots on the ground front line officers will have to reach deep into their souls and decide if they are more loyal to fellow human beings, or the jack boot tyrants.

Not Canadian so this question may be way off base. Do Canadians think that the Liberal government and its allies will make a move to either weaken the Charter or abandon it all together as a response to these protests?
