DHS issues heightened terror threat citing 'mis- dis- and mal-information' on election fraud and COVID-19: Bulletin sounds precisely like a prelude to a totalitarian crackdown on political dissent.

The Department of Homeland Security issued a bulletin on Tuesday that sounds precisely like a prelude to a totalitarian crackdown on political dissent from the preferred narratives of the Biden regime and the Deep State. Read the opening of the summary:
The United States remains in a heightened threat environment fueled by several factors, including an online environment filled with false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories, and other forms of mis- dis- and mal-information (MDM) introduced and/or amplified by foreign and domestic threat actors. These threat actors seek to exacerbate societal friction to sow discord and undermine public trust in government institutions to encourage unrest, which could potentially inspire acts of violence.
Translation: Criticize us, and you are encouraging terrorism. The obvious corollary is that you, who dare disagree with the regime, are a terroristic threat.
The very first point made in the body ("key factors contributing to the current heightened threat environment") of the bulletin continues this emphasis on dissenting voices (such as those often seen on these pages).
The proliferation of false or misleading narratives, which sow discord or undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions:
- For example, there is widespread online proliferation of false or misleading narratives regarding unsubstantiated widespread election fraud and COVID-19. Grievances associated with these themes inspired violent extremist attacks during 2021.
It then claims that foreign forces use these dissenting voices:
- Malign foreign powers have and continue to amplify these false or misleading narratives in efforts to damage the United States.
The implication is obvious: disagreement with official narratives is treasonous.
As a friend of mine put it in an email, "it takes real chutzpah for Homeland Security to put out this kind of warning given its total dereliction of its duty to secure our borders."

“Sounds like it was copied from the Bolsheviks in 1917”
The current Attorney General is one of their descendants, so that’s not surprising.

It sounds to me like they are preparing to steal the 2022 elections and are anticipating the reaction from the right.

Questioning election fraud is now known as “extremist”. Total violation of the 1st Amendment!

Here’s a hypothetical I posted at Intrade, which generated some insightful conversation.
https://bb.intrade.com/intradeForum/posts/list/555/2279.page
Here’s a set of hypotheticals for you. Let’s say you’re a loyal Roman republican with 5 buddies watching Caesar cross the Rubicon with his army, and you know full well what that means for the Roman republic. What is your duty at that point?
Let’s say you’re a loyal German who believes in democracy and you see Hitler making tanks instead of VW’s as he has promised the peepull. What is your duty at that point?
Let’s say you’re a loyal american constitutionalist and you see a marxist usurper cheating his way to the presidency, you file a lawsuit and it gets thrown out of SCOTUS within a week of the inauguration. What is your duty at that point?
I know, I know... no one ever really addresses a good hypothetical. Here’s an example: If the sky were green, would more people have green eyes? Many people say stuff like, “of course the sky ain’t green” or they go into the physics behind why the sky ain’t green or they ask you why you aren’t in with the yellow-eyed crowd or they say green-eyed people are just monsters or all kinds of things, but they never really address the hypothetical. So I shouldn’t hold out any hope that you’d be different.
But at least I’m on record with trying to stop this constitutional travesty and if I wander back to my farm in the highlands rather than continue the fight through further futile Roman Empire politics, that’s my business. The only guy who survived in that movie of ‘300’ was the one whose job it was to tell the history.

If such people think that people like you, me and others who want the truth are idiots and kooks, what does that say about their desire to have the truth?
***What does it say about Free Republic that they’re allowed to operate in their constitutionally agnostic (or should we say obviously anti-constitutionalist) tactics & perspectives? The guys posting chemtrail conspiracies & Vince Foster nonsense & other Arkancides & illuminati &etc. were given a wider berth than this. I don’t freeping get it.

When hardline leftists (fascists, communists, et al) are successful in advancing their political ideology, we always reach a point where all opposition must be silenced. Dissent is a risk to the totalitarian state; that’s also why communists always ban religion.
Totalitarianism needs total control. Free speech is antithetical to that control. The natural evolution of any totalitarian state is to use the justification of security as a method for that control; hence, the U.S. received The Patriot Act, and all of the longer-term slippery slope consequences that are never fully discussed at the outset. I digress.
So, here we are today – facing a U.S. Dept of Homeland Security (DHS), under the current control of the far left, stating that free speech is now the biggest domestic threat for terrorism. Whereby the voices to target are those voices who might:
“sow discord and undermine public trust in government institutions to encourage unrest, which could potentially inspire acts of violence.”
Undermine trust in government, as defined by anyone who does not blindly trust the policies from Biden administration, and you are now subject to be labeled a terrorist.
DHS Alert (Feb 7, 2022) – The United States remains in a heightened threat environment fueled by several factors, including an online environment filled with false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories, and other forms of mis- dis- and mal-information (MDM) introduced and/or amplified by foreign and domestic threat actors.
These threat actors seek to exacerbate societal friction to sow discord and undermine public trust in government institutions to encourage unrest, which could potentially inspire acts of violence. Mass casualty attacks and other acts of targeted violence conducted by lone offenders and small groups acting in furtherance of ideological beliefs and/or personal grievances pose an ongoing threat to the nation.
While the conditions underlying the heightened threat landscape have not significantly changed over the last year, the convergence of the following factors has increased the volatility, unpredictability, and complexity of the threat environment:
- the proliferation of false or misleading narratives, which sow discord or undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions.
- continued calls for violence directed at U.S. critical infrastructure; soft targets and mass gatherings; faith-based institutions, such as churches, synagogues, and mosques; institutions of higher education; racial and religious minorities; government facilities and personnel, including law enforcement and the military; the media; and perceived ideological opponents; and
- calls by foreign terrorist organizations for attacks on the United States based on recent events. (read more)
It is not coincidental that immediately following the 2020 election, the same totalitarian voices demanded that Big Tech social media platforms change and modify their terms and conditions to control, remove and target any content provider or voice who might “undermine public trust in U.S. government.” They knew what they did, and they knew they needed control immediately.
The same terror threat argument is right now being made by the government of Canada to label protest groups as “threats to national security.”
The same terror threat argument is right now being used by the government of the United States against the January 6th protestors.
The intents are exactly the same. The institutions are following the same playbook, narrative engineering, processes and procedures for the elimination of those dissident voices. The agents of the “Five Eyes” operating surveillance state are all working in unison.
All of this to frame a political narrative to the benefit of the leftists in control of all similarly aligned ideological governments.
Pretenses have been dropped…

It's astonishing how many Americans are oblivious to the truth and what's going on! How many can't comprehend what's going on even when it is so obvious!
Can they be that dense? Are they in denial? Are they just plain stupid?
