Several Republican senators have criticized the Republican National Committee (RNC) for voting to censure Representatives Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger on Friday.
Some prominent members of the Senate GOP took aim at the decision in comments over the past few days and suggested it wasn't a way to unify the Republican Party.
The criticism comes in a crucial midterm election year, in which Republicans are hoping to take back the Senate and the House of Representatives, and as the House Select Committee's investigation of the events of January 6, 2021, is ongoing.

For ya see, they’re in solidarity with Cheney and Kinzinger.
But they could NEVER be in solidarity with Trump. He was just the president with MILLIONS of supporters.
Trump was to be undermined, thwarted, ostracized, marginalized and exiled.
But Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger? They must NEVER be condemned in any way!
Who GAS what the “Republican” Senators want? It’s what the people want that matters.
They're all RINOs and they're all worthy of censure.
Another case where the headline isn’t borne out by the story. Nine loser senators are quoted, not “every.”
Every!!!.... well, some ... well a handful of RINOs, but who is counting.
Newsweak didn’t quote “every” Republican Senator. They quoted a few of the more moderate Senate members. There is absolutely nothing in the article that supports the headline.
Yet the trailer park crowd will latch onto the headline and ignore the fact that Newsweak didn’t support the headline in the article.
Newsweak knows what will get the trailer park crowd to Reeeeeeeeeeee!

Murkowski is “there for the people of Alaska and not the GOP” (voter) doncha know.
This is a list of every one of the 9 GOP senators who are pissing on the graves of the Republican protestors martyred on January 6. Remember the names of these reptilian traitors and primary them.
Great, no RNC backing for them. The RNC is responding to the rank and file. Senators who don’t understand that are so disconnected they need to be retired. Newsfash Senators, you represent the stats that elected you and that state is made up of people.

Horrible headline,...i was surprised to read that Every Republican Senator was condemning anybody or anybody’s censure. They can’t agree on lunch.

Right. But that’s par for the course.
They’re attempting to pit the “reasonable” Republicans in the Senate against the “crazy” Republicans in the House.
But there is SUPPOSED to be tension between the Senate and the House. So their little game only works on the types that usually nod their heads at such a headline.
