The companies have yet to say what brand they'll fly under or who would lead management of the new airline. The combined company would offer more than 1,000 daily flights to over 145 destinations.

“Two wrongs don’t make a right.”
Hah! Good one. :-)
Yay! Now they can lose my luggage twice as efficiently.

This is the worst airline in the U.S., according to a new ranking — and it’s not Spirit or Frontier

Two ghetto s hole airlines to form one giant ghetto s hole airline.
Now if they just include Jet Blue, we can put all the sucky airlines under one heading.
“Spitier” or “FrontSpit”?
Just thought you might be interested in this thread.
Of the few flights I have taken Frontier twice and Delta twice), I would say that Frontier was far and away the superior experience for me.
Delta sucks - If I have to fly with them again I might need sedation to tolerate it as they soured me on the idea of ever taking a flight to travel again. Frontier was enjoyable, had pleasant attendants and I would fly with them again.
I was hoping that two negatives DO make a positive. That’s what I was taught!
They can call themselves “Frontier Spirit”.
I prefer Front Tit. But then I have for some time...
One thing I’ve learned is that airline consolidation is almost never a positive thing for the consumer.
Years ago I used to fly something called Reno Air which serviced the central and western US through its Las Vegas hub. Wasn’t fancy, but it was inexpensive and altogether no hassle.
Welp they got bought by American who claimed that they were keeping the LV hub and that service would get “even better.” Six months later they closed the hub and I was back to connecting through DFW, which is basically the Death Star of airports.
Same thing when Delta bought out Air Tran. They cut flights and destinations from the local airport. Not to mention raised the cost.
Spirit standed us at the last minute (and all the rest of the flight’s passengers) with zero notice and no visible cause (nice clear sky day)
it took a considerate ground crew from a competing airline to volunteer to assist us in finding alternative, last-minute passage.... some passengers had to go to different airports and rent cars to get where they were heading
it cost us an extra $2000 in ticketing, too
and SPirit refused all calls for refunds
keeping our money for providing zero service
in short, an outright theft.
the only thing spirit said is that they’d cancelled the flight months ago...BUT AGAIN THEY DID NOT LET ANY OF THEIR PASSENGERS WITH PAID TICKETS..... know about it, so we were all left stranded at the departure airport, trying to find other ways to travel
We will never, ever use Spirit airline again! Hopefully, Frontier will be running the show after the merger? We sure hope so!
ANything is better than SPirit!
The Trailways and Greyhound bus lines of the air air merging!!!
I agree. Everyone I know has had great experiences on Frontier.
Literally the opposite on Spirit. Just the worst airline EVER!
Then you havent been subjected to any flights on Spirit. Just the worst!
I’ve never flown on Spirit. I only flew on Frontier once.
