Because there is Civil War. Not a hot one, perse, but a war nonetheless. Patriots within the GOP must take back the party from the infringing Deep State Cabal 'RINOs'.
There are two main Rs running to be in the primary, and one will become Gov in January. One is Diehl, the grass-roots Lyons-supporter. The other is Doughty, from the Baker bench. [others include Indy Ploss, and a few others].
We Patriots must win somehow, and until such time as there are no longer two main parties, the vessel to use is the R party.

There’s not enough time to take the political approach you suggest. It would take years to cycle out the sludge, both on the surface and in the administrative state. I’ll vote for Trump and anyone he endorses. That’s the extent of my political involvement.
