“Russia has no reason to invade...at this time.”

I would have believed that seven months ago, but Putin might just do it. He is unpredictable. Putin might think Biden is weak and not there mentally. We will find out after the Olympics.

Not sure what to believe in the News.

I can tell you a friend in Ukraine was not worry about a Russia invasion two weeks ago, He could not believe how big of a deal the western Media was making of this.

This week he is worried. If I do not see him online in the morning, his reserve unit has been activated. Hopefully, I will see him online in the morning.

Congress, with its bipartisan frenzy to punish Putin for invading Ukraine before he has actually done so, is not helping. If Putin is going to be punished for invading Ukraine, even if he has not done so, he might as well get his money’s worth. Add in the fact that he looks weak if he doesn’t invade after sanctions have been imposed for doing so, and he will have zero to show the Russian people in exchange for the economic pain caused by the sanctions, and Congress is effectively prodding Putin to invade.

“Speak quietly and carry a big stick” is not a familiar concept in DC these days.

Why would he do it? He doesn't need Ukraine. He knows Russia will never again be the USSR.

Brandon is the one that is unpredictable. Both Ukraine and Germany have told him to...just shut up.
