They will be out in 6 months..............
Maybe...but she will be out in the next few months. Pretty sure she's seen bars before................
Well, Duhhhhh ~ isn’t that the Whole Point of BLM ?! It’s not about the lives that matter, or they’d be marching in Chicago....
Moses contended during her hearing last week that she believed she could vote again despite her convictions, because the corrections department and county election commission both signed off on her voter registration application in 2019.
However, the officials who signed off on the application admitted they made an error when they said her probation was over, the Washington Post reported.
You do the math...Tenn state prison per year, per individual, is around $23,500. State tax-payers have to fund this idiot for six years. I would have put a ankle tracker on the person’s leg...restricted them to some degree, and just told them to get a job. Maybe every other Saturday...dragged them out for sandbag filling for eight hours.
Pretty good odds that some pardon will occur.
That seems more appropriate.
If six years is what it takes to discourage anyone, or any group from blatantly cheating in elections, then
YES THE SENTENCE IS APPROPRIATE.
There needs to be something that STOPS the cheating.
If this is it, THEN SO BE IT.
That’s not how probation works…. At least how it is supposed to work…
If there is an offense of the terms of probation, the probation can be revoked and the full incarceration sentence for the conviction immediately implemented and off to jail the person goes. In this case, the sentence associated directly to the illegal voting she was convicted of was probably added to the previous sentence that was deferred pending satisfactory completion of the probation terms.
Now she can legally vote from prison, hundreds of times.
Thanks for the clarification.
