The only way I would even consider this arrangement is if I’m leasing the car. Otherwise, I wouldn’t pay a nickel to maintain or upgrade the functionality of a single feature on the car after I drove it off the dealership lot.

Question is would you be unlocking access to equipment already installed on your car which you did not pay for or access for options your purchased with the car? Also would you need a subscription to enjoy the option you already purchased when the car was new?

My feeling about it is...screw the car manufacturers/dealers. I'll buy a car out of a junkyard and fix it before I'd buy new under those conditions.
