I agree. I have thought for a while that Charles would step aside and William would become King. Now, though, the Queen just tossed a monkey-wrench into the transition. Reading between the lines, it kinda sorta sounds like the Queen is getting ready to step aside and has put the decision into Charles’ hands.
Queen has no say. Successor to the Crown are a matter of long-standing Parliamentary law.
If only Charles would step aside.

Naw...When she can’t perform her duties...she will step aside. She has been ill a few times this year. She has been a wonderful Queen. I was 8. The big thing I remember was that the crown was so heavy....almost 5 lbs. So put a 5 lb bag of sugar on your head to get the idea.
