School boards and admins do not have legal authority to require students to wear masks. They are not governors. They are not a health authority. They have no “emergency powers” for a virus.
The sooner everyone realizes this the better.

The schools will continue to push it anyway, I bet. If everyone ignores them, this stops.
Yet they don’t name the districts. We have something like 800 school districts. I have no idea if my county is one of them or not, and no amount of searching gives the answer
This doesn’t apply to Chicago public schools - per the Teacher’s Union agreement.
