CNN is a damaged brand. I don’t think it can be saved no matter who you have as commentators. It’ll take years before people will trust them. Myself included.

I strongly dislike CNN and what it stands for today. But I am an octogenarian and can remember when CNN was the “go-to” when you needed to know what was happening. If you were on the international circuit “back then”, CNN International was what you turned to when you were out of the country. (I often regretted I could only get CNN International outside the country). It WAS, believe it or not, at one time a very credible news source. Amazing to see what “leftism” can do to things over the years, CNN today is unrecognizable. I, for one, would love to see them become once again the most trusted name in news ... unfortunately, I think they have “fried the egg”.

Exactly how I feel. They used a bit more center left. Back with Larry King in the 80’s and early 90’s.

Then starting with Bush Jr, the swung way left.

Then farther with Obama, then crazy chicken wings with Trump. And are stuck there along with most of the rest of the media.

Trump was spot on calling them all Fake News.

Yep, I followed that too.

I’m not sure what to make of the 1 year bidAn extension.

Perhaps the EO was extended beyond that, only not made public. Or, alternatively, perhaps it is no longer required.

Or, perhaps it no longer is relevant, due to things like PEADs.
