I think the fake “debunking’ was that that mother was already in the militia or reserve, which allegedly the Ukrainian media hid. Russian propaganda attacked her personally. But Ukrainian media discussed her military status from the beginning despite Russians claiming otherwise.

Ukraine has different areas. Many areas to the southeast will probably largely welcome an invasion because they are largely Russian. You might end up fighting your neighbors as well as Russian troops. Don’t forget Ukraine troops. It could get really messy.
It would be better to have referendums. Not sure anyone would trust the vote. (No doubt due to misinformation /s)
Say your prayers for the people in Ukraine.

alternatives?
(The only reason to have an army is to defend your borders.)

At the very least they will move into the parts of Western Ukraine that used to belong to Poland, if the Russians make their move in Eastern Ukraine.

If Ukraine wants to fight Russian invasion it is OK by me - just as long as America is not involved.
Only idiots try to get involved in other country’s civil wars.

“Ukrainians start arming themselves for possible Russian attack”
Americans start arming themselves for possible Biden usurpation
Both are true.

Exactly.
Ukrainians who remember their history will fight till their last breath. And will be right to do so.

I give the Ukraine army about two days before they drop their Javelins and flee their trenches. Those who are left that is. Only question is will Brandon then go back in his word and get US Troops involved in a war with Russia.

“We always look at the Second Amendment of the US Constitution. It is not just about self-protection, but the protection of freedom and the protection of independence. Is there a single Democrat who understands this as well? Maybe Joe Manchin.

Didn’t I hear that argument before, when the practicality of the 2nd Amendment was being discussed?

The assumptions made by most people is that the military of the US wouldn’t be involved in CW-II or that it would split in support of both sides. In the case of a foreign military’s invasion, all bets would be off.
