President Joe Biden met with New York Democrats on Thursday, blaming the number of available guns in New York City for the dramatic rise in crime.
The president indicated that Republicans were blocking gun control measures in Congress, allowing the rise in gun crime to continue.

They should do everything possible to go to the root of the problem.

My father had at least 9 long guns all the time we were growing up.
NEVER was worried about anyone getting shot.

How about getting rid of bail reform for one. How many times do we let these guys rob, rape, murder?

Yeah, like I saw a gun the other day in a gun store. I was very afraid that it was going to jump up and start shooting everyone. You know how mean spirited those guns are. Those guns must have had bad upbringings, like maybe came from fatherless families and are poorly educated or something.

The root of the problem is welfare and EBT payments to the same people generation after generation. “Payday” is when the government money is deposited to their account. The result is no fathers in the home.
Nothing will get better until that is fixed.
