If they win, will the attorneys make millions while the aspiring air traffic controllers get a voucher for a flight with an affirmative action United Airlines crew? I know. Once I actually joined one of those class action lawsuits and WON! I got a letter in the mail from "my" attorneys saying for me to mail back to them (stamp cost) a form and they'd send me my 56 cents of settlement.

I recall the settlement in the change of frequent flier program miles back in the 90s. Seems you had to use them or lose them in a new “upgrade” to the program so the airline got sued. The attorneys settled for a few million. The class action group was awarded coupons that could be used to defray future flight costs. There were a few strings on their use. Something like they could only be used for lights originating from Borneo during a solar eclipse. I actually got to use one once. The airline ticket agent said congratulations: you are the only person I have ever seen been able to use one of those.
