Looks like y’all got a fair amount of snow again today. White-out conditions at the airport for a little while. At least it’s stopped now.

Finally getting a little snow melt up there, are ya? ‘Bout time you got rid of some.
The last three days have been pretty nice here with sunshine and decent temps. WET tomorrow and Thursday and COLD the next few days after. We can’t seem to get off this roller coaster ride.
I guess the only thing new here is we lost one of our kitties yesterday. She had a large tumor in her mouth and we had to put an end to things. She was 18 so she lived a long life.
They sure would rather be sitting out in the warm sun. And I don’t look forward to having to break ice out of their water dish over and over. LOL!
I KNOW you’re tired of it. You’ve had way more winter stuff than we have. We’re just hoping NOT to have another week of electric grid problems and ice covering everything.

Kitties do love to sit in the sunshine. Ours enjoy this time of year because we do get sunshine through the windows for them to enjoy. The sun is overhead during summer and only one window on the east end of the house gives them a sun patch to lie in. It’s funny to watch them move as the sun patches move across the floors.
I just don’t like having to deal with frozen precip when these systems come through. Even if we don’t get anything falling from the skies this time, we’re going to have so much rain the next two days, the roads will be soaked and we’ll have black ice.
I imagine after last year, y’all tense up when these arctic blast blow in. The electric grid going down like it did had to be a nightmare.

It was a nightmare for so many for many reasons. Luckily, ours never went down. For that I am very thankful. Who knows who will be affected if it happens again.
Right now it’s quiet and cool outside, but not a hint of what’s coming. I’ll bet I hear the first gust of wind. I usually do.
Black ice is THE worst because it’s stealthy. And most people just barrel onto it like they haven’t been warned. I know you’ll stay in your warm home till this stuff passes. Very smart!
Having gone through an ice storm and being without power for several days, I can sympathize. I still get nervous if they say we have a possibility of freezing rain.
There isn’t much precip down your way at this point. The heavier stuff is in OK on up. You should be ok but northern folks, not so much.
It was windy today but is calm now. It’ll kick back up tomorrow and keep going til the front comes through.
Yep, I plan to stay put for a few days. It’s going to be too wet to get out to do anything the next two days and I’m steering clear of the crazies who won’t slow down when the roads are icy. One benefit of being retired. I can stay put when I want to. LOL
Well, I hope what you’re seeing is right. I keep hearing about some kind of precipitation on Wednesday and/or Thursday.
Maybe it’ll pass us both by and you won’t be stranded for day after day. Of course, with all those kitties, you have plenty of entertainment. LOL!

Tough one for yours truly I got 4 out of 10. I'm already stocked up for food for the coming winter storm so I did well in that regard.
