The proposed law: "To prevent the spread of a dangerously contagious or infectious disease, the [Public Health] Department may, pursuant to the provisions of subsection (c) of this Section, isolate or quarantine persons whose refusal to undergo observation and monitoring results in uncertainty regarding whether he or she has been exposed to or is infected with a dangerously contagious or infectious disease or otherwise poses a danger to the public's health."
Notice that the law does not require that you actually have Covid-19, but applies to people who refuse "to undergo observation and monitoring" leading to "uncertainty" about whether they have, or have been exposed to, an infectious disease. And what does it mean by "otherwise poses a danger to the public's health." By thinking the wrong thoughts or saying the wrong things? And are they going to send people to your door who demand that you submit to an examination?
