Exposing children to this filth is child abuse. Good for Texas.

Heh, only media approved books are allowed. Yup, the media - you know, the folks who couldn’t pass any REAL courses in college.

Sounds like they are merely removing sexually explicit content which is appropriate.

Being homosexual or having some same sex attraction is not a sin. Acting on those desires & engaging in homosexual activity is a sin.

Likely a made-up story ... trying to shame “Christians and conservatives. If this girl has a cell-phone, then she has access to whatever she wants to read, see, etc..

Gone: “Jack of Hearts (and Other Parts),” a book she’d read last year about a gay teenager who isn’t shy about discussing his adventurous sex life. Also banished: “The Handsome Girl and Her Beautiful Boy,” “All Boys Aren’t Blue” and “Lawn Boy” — all coming-of-age stories that prominently feature LGBTQ characters and passages about sex.

What will these books be replaced with? How about books about how to do things like manage money, cook, fix things, take care of pets, etc. knowing how to do something builds confidence in ways that have nothing to do with sex.

We got some pretty heavy backlash from Muslim and foreign parents who see these books as American corruption of their kids.

Does this quote actually sound like it came from a teenager?
“As I’ve struggled with my own identity as a queer person, it’s been really, really important to me that I have access to these books,” said the girl, whom NBC News is not naming to avoid revealing her sexuality. “And I’m sure it’s really important to other queer kids. You should be able to see yourself reflected on the page.”
“my own identity as a queer person”?
“access to these books”?
“see yourself reflected on the page”?

This has to be an organized media blitz regarding
banning books in public schools. Notice the language? BANNING! We have a St Louis school district also removing a couple of perverted books from their libraries but according to the local news last night (and today!) they are literary works being
banned!. Of course they don't mention that the depraved works are still available at the local public library or Amazon. Of course there's a leftist book store owner stepping up to the plate by god. She's offering the
banned literary works in
her store. And the public response has just been overwhelmingly supportive! They even interviewed a Nancy Pelosi type denouncing the
ban and she's buying several copies because...
So sick of the depraved reprobates (is that redundant?) stirring up trouble.

True, and I’m not at all sure that “it’s been really, really important to [a gay girl] that I have access to these books”.
Maybe it would depend on the book.

So they pulled her porn.
She can always go to the actual library and check out all the porn she wants.
