Quebec Premier François Legault has scrapped his proposed tax on the unvaccinated, sources tell CBC and Radio-Canada.
As first reported by La Presse, the premier is set to make the announcement at a press conference this afternoon, at 1 p.m.
The tax, which was announced in January by the premier, would have imposed a monetary penalty on Quebecers who did not get their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Sounds like François Legault paid attention to the news out of Ottawa.
The bill if it had become law it would have been problematic since it would open up a large can of worms about other health conditions which could be um taxed or dealt with in a way that isn’t at the moment. It would seriously undermine the idea of universal socialist health care. It wouldn’t be a rabbit hole the left would want to venture down I would think.
Current vaccines were developed for original strain but reasonable efficacy for Delta as well. Omicron which is 99% of current cases does not respond well to these same vaccines. Pfizer has an omicron booster due out in March. Taking a vaccine now makes no sense and Omicron has started a steep decline and should be done before March. Forget about it.

The globalist billionaires dreamt up the white supremacist narrative decades ago, as a means of crushing the only potential opposition to their plans for a one world government slave state....the salt of the earth populists. Now that the populists are in ascendancy, they are repeating this phrase over and over and over and over again since Trump won the 2016 primary.
No government anywhere on Earth has the right to impose such a tax. Not that it would prevent them from doing it.
