I use to work the security detail at a now closed Golden Corral in Ohio. Certain people would arrive just after church on Sunda. They would sit in a group, eat lunch, and socialize, eating nonstop until after Sunday Dinner.
The reason they hired a deputy was to suppress the activity shown.
One lady arrived with a shopping bag filled with empty containers that she filled from the buffet.
No one said that all you can eat means eat right now.
They eventually closed.
