My wife is a naturalized American citizen who seethes over illegal immigration. When we see the stories on FOX News that highlight the cancellation of our border under the Biden administration, she always asks why the GOP isn’t doing a blessed thing about it. Drawing on the recent news that we have followed on Power Line, Miranda Devine channels and amplifies my wife’s thoughts in the New York Post column “GOP can’t complain about Biden’s migrants when they’re not stepping in.” She writes:
It’s all very well for Kevin McCarthy and other GOP members of Congress to rant on Fox News about how terrible the border crisis is, but what are they doing about it?
At least 2 million illegal migrants crossed the border last year, and all we heard from Congress was hot air.
Republicans in Washington will tell you they are powerless to do anything about illegal migration until after they regain control in November, assuming they do.
But one lone New York gubernatorial candidate did more to inform the public about the Biden administration’s partnership with people-smuggling cartels than did members of Congress with vastly more resources.
Rob Astorino didn’t rest on empty rhetoric. The former Westchester County executive took action.
Despite being slandered by Democrats as a racist, he has exposed the deliberate subterfuge of the Biden administration as it flies illegal migrants around the country and secretes them in unsuspecting communities.
And so on. Bring the heat, Miranda! Devine foregoes tormenting McCarthy with questions about what he would do when he wields the Speaker’s gavel, but I doubt she would be impressed with whatever he might have to say.

GOP and independent voters have the ability to fix this with one simple pledge......
Any congress critter who does not immediately scream about the border and stop ALL congressional business until the border is secured will NOT receive our votes. Period. Full stop.
This is the only thing that gets their attention. No money to the GOPe..... no support of any congress critter who does not make this issue #1.
They are bleeding our nation to death. Both parties. This is how you fix things. Pick one problem and concentrate on it.
Yes. I feel we as a country, is coming toward the end. I feel a shift. Trump won his second term but was not allowed to take his place. The Deep State overlords could not have it. He was in the way of their plans to make our country into 3rd world. I just don’t understand why

The truth is that there isn't a damn thing Republicans can do about this other than squawk.
They have to steal the country from the citizens by flooding it with foreigners before they can subsume it to the UN in a New World Order.
We would not vote to give up our sovereignty, so they are importing people who will.
They could have cooperated with Trump building the wall, bit they chose to oppose him on that.
Bush League Republicans have been keeping the borders open and the laws unenforced since GHW Bush.
Many don't even squawk, they simply roll over and ask for more. They aren't called the Surrender party for nothing.

Tell her that TRUE conservatives tried hard to do something about it and were fought every inch of the way by liberals AND by rinos who want open borders. The border even had private citizens patrolling the border till the rinos and liberals forced them to stop.
