Joe Rogan has addressed recent criticism that his podcast "The Joe Rogan Experience" has helped to spread COVID-19 misinformation.
A backlash from scientists and health professionals prompted Neil Young and Joni Mitchell to request that their music be taken off Spotify, which owns the podcast.
In a video posted to Instagram Sunday, Rogan said of Young and Mitchell: "I'm very sorry that they feel that way. I most certainly don't want that."
He added: "I want to thank Spotify for being so supportive during this time and I'm very sorry that this is happening to them and that they're taking so much heat from it."

His interviews with Dr Malone and Dr McCullough were fantastic.
Otherwise, I don’t care for him.
He does, however, ask good questions and let’s the person answer. He doesn’t try to trap people with their words and cut them off.
Rogan also thinks biden’s election was legitimate.
I read the whole thing. There’s nothing wrong with offering different opinions.
It is fake news. That was no ‘apology’.
“Read the whole thing. He is a weak sauce cuck to the left.”
CHILL lol. Why are freepers so angry during the morning ? hahah
I disagree just like some us here in the west coast. it’s not even a half-ass apology. It’s akin to saying “my bad” instead of “I’m sorry”. He’s running a business and I also run a succesful prodn’ co. There are ways to say “thanks” in a “subtle” condescending way and I’ve done this to the faggots at Netflix every week.
He already offers different opinions. That is the point. He can not offer Malone’s opinion about covid and vaxes without a disclaimer that Malone is spreading disinformation.
The leftist opinions will have no such disclaimer because we all know they never spread disinformation. /big sarc.
Okay, time usually tells.
Sorry, didn’t mean to imply that I thought Joe is a Conservative. Anyone that talks up Michelle for President could anything but.
Yes, he didn’t offer a forthright apology but I thought his words to be weasley rather than defiant, as I hoped they would be.
There is a world of difference between “I’ll say what I want and talk to who I want and my guests can say what they want.”, and “I’ve been wrong in the past. I’ll be more balanced from now on.”
I still like the guy in spite of, on top of everything else, the fact that he giggles like a little girl. He’s probably one of the better listeners out there.
I’ll bet he goes easy on them now - he will be afraid to challenge them
Yup.
But don't tell all these determined Soros paid trolls who are out in force on this thread pushing the pure fiction that Rogan apologized, when he clearly didn't.
Chuckle.
I watched his video and he caved, he said he is ok with censorship warnings on his shows - now anytime he has a guest on his show that doesn’t support the narrative, the whole show will be labeled disinformation regardless of what is said on the show.
I agree the double standard with the disclaimers is intolerable.
But where is Rogan supporting the disclaimers?
So... he didn’t apologize.
Meh...Joe Rogan does not need Spotify to be successful, he’s on there because they made it convenient for him.
He would have become even bigger if he held his ground and stood up for free speech - now he is neutered
I have no love for the man
I bet that Neil Young doesn’t have more than three songs anyone can remember. Most people don’t know anything about Jonni Mitchell. Rogan should tell Spotify, Young and Mitchell and anyone else that comes along to kiss his butt. Spotify has a contract with Rogan for $100m that will prevent them from doing anything to him.
Dana Carvey nailed Neil.
“This is every Neil Young song you’ve ever heard...”

Joe has been “neutered” whether he realizes it or not.
He will weigh what he says and/or who he has on vs the flack he will receive.
He has been cowed.
“cowed
adjective
frightened into submission or compliance.
Frightened into submission.”
