In a video posted to Instagram Sunday, Rogan said of Young and Mitchell: "I'm very sorry that they feel that way. I most certainly don't want that." Why so conciliatory?!
Does Rogan think for a minute that Young or Mitchell would ever say even only a halfway decent thing about him?!
Regards,

Birds of a feather cuck together.
Rogan’s a lib con man, just like Maher. He plays the part of the honest truth-seeker but is really a Fellow Traveler, first and foremost, and will bend the knee when the script calls for it.

Apologies never work, Joe.
It pains me to say this but game, set, match awarded to communist Neil Young.

I don’t take it as an apology. Its a milquetoast statement of regret for the controversy
Rogan is a top media figure now. His listeners dwarf MSM channel viewers by something like 10X- 20X.
I’m sure he’ll rip into them on his podcast when he has the chance.

I’ll offer two possibilities:
1. His $100 million contract with Spotify is not without risk. If the company goes out of business, he’s out of luck.
2. His $100 million contract may include cash and a financial stake in Spotify. See #1 for the implications of that.
For the record … I don’t use Spotify (I barely even know what it is) and I have never watched a minute of Joe Rogan on any platform.

Except there is NO apology.
Its like saying, “I am sorry you are stupid and foolish. I most certainly don’t want you to be that way”.
FAKE NEWS!!

Nothing wrong with being empathetic. He’s not conceding any ground at all - just expressing regret that Spotify has to deal with these snowflake celebrities.
As for his “half-apology” to the celebrities - it wasn’t an apology at all.
It was basically saying “sorry you feel that way”.

A better idea would have been for him to invite them on the show to point out what they feel is disinformation. These half apologies make him look weak.
