The Government , so far , has backed down. No tow trucks or tickets. It is because they are vastly outnumbered and if they did play a game of crack down it could become a Revolution they would lose.
Things like this always remind me of WWII documentaries I have seen where, after all of the Americans had died making it safe, the “leaders in exile” finally returned to their respective European countries.
I remain surprised that they were not greeted with rope.
