House Democrats are losing sleep that the looming midterm elections could be a wipeout, and will grant Republicans firm control of the chamber, insiders on both sides of the aisles told The Post.

“If we don’t fix things now, we will get mauled in November,” said one battleground Democratic member of Congress. “Anyone in a tough district knows it. The rest have their head stuck in the sand.”

Wouldn’t surprise me to see war - they gotta time it right.

Look for DemonsRats to, running up to the election, ginning us bogus polls showing things tightening and voters sidleing away from Republicans. Then they’ll just count the votes to show that.

Instead, let’s keep filling those local poll watcher and precinct captain spots and keeping the pressure on.“””

Yep.

“If we don’t fix things now, we will get mauled in November,” said one battleground Democratic member of Congress. “Anyone in a tough district knows it. The rest have their head stuck in the sand.”

He said inflation, spiraling urban crime, and supply-chain shortages are key issues Dems need to turn around.”

There’s no way communists fix that by November, it would require reversing everything they done until now and it still wouldn’t happen fast enough.

It takes longer to rebuild than it does to tear down.

“How can that be if Biden has a 10 pt lead on Trump?”

Irrelevant, they aren’t running.

i see three ways forward for democrats.

Hype up a non-existent conflict between Trump and DeSantis. The corrupt media will be happy to push the false narrative, and some useful idiot republicans and rinos will help.

Push a third party candidate race.

Get tons of fake republicans like Dr. Oz to trojan horse their way to victory, so that the Republican victory isn’t a conservative victory at all.

Push for impeachment of Biden, which will consume limited time/energy for conservatives on a task that would accomplish absolutely nothing. Hello president Kamala or even worse

oh I forgot #4. There is still plenty of Zuckerberg money to throw the next election. Maybe they won’t fix enough states in time.

We could have a veto proof legislature but if McConnell and McCarthy are still in charge it won’t mean a damn thing. Conservatives need to control both chambers of congress.

Just out of curiosity, why didn’t dems consider the impact of their policies on the midterms before now? Perhaps it’s like how rapists first want to finish their deed before considering the consequences.

There has to be a very lopsided majority of Pubbies to even have a chance to get anything done. Too many of these squishes want to play nice and some even side with the Dems from the outset.

They don’t know what to do with a majority, especially a slim majority.

Remember the great ‘Senate sharing’ deal?

Idiots! 🙄

Hey, all of you illegals. Want to continue to get free stuff? Vote D a few times. Meanwhile, the fraudulent election deniers in the weak and feckless R party will sit back and let it happen. They like being in the do nothing minority. Sit back, do nothing and collect a check and get kickbacks.

“Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi’s radical policies have caused an inflation crisis, a crime crisis, a border crisis, and multiple international crises in Afghanistan and Ukraine.” said House GOP conference Elise Stefanik. OK, which one do you fix first? If they touch any of these it's like touching the third rail for progressives. Maybe they can attack the homeless problem this time honestly. It's a mental health problem not a drug problem.
They have lost the white vote, the parents of school kids, the CORVID cure. Oh by the way no democrat wants Biden or Harris in their district during this election cycle.
Forgot to mention the state republicans have tighten election voting another problem.
Here is another bigger and fatal problem the Democrats face after the election, the surviving democrats will be majority black. People don't talk about it however White, Asian and Hispanic votes will less likely identify with them. Bigger problem come January 2023 and a disappearance of the democratic party as we know it today.
Hey Carol order a bigger popcorn bowl for election night.

I wonder if fraud in the midterms is more difficult. There are some 3000 districts in the country but they only have to control 57 of them To win the presidency.

But each of those 3000 districts has its own representatives. So the 57 in control of Presidential elections connot control Midterms.

The communists have nothing to fear.
Between the GOPe arm of the UniParty constantly snatching communist RAT defeat from the jaws of victory, and their primed-up Dominion voting machines swapping votes 4:1, there won’t be any “wipe-out”. /s

I don’t understand why Biden doesn’t have a 50 point lead by now...

It's only because of Extremists.

"If we don't fix things now, we will get mauled in November,"
I take that as a call for more government, more mandate, higher taxes, more regulations, and more giveaways (not to mention more woke and more green). Because those mandates from the government against the people is what "fix things" is to a politician,

"They sent us here to legislate."

“..How can that be if Biden has a 10 pt lead on Trump?...”

Probably even more than that.
His huge 81+ million voter constituency should easily pull any communist RAT congress critter right on thru to victory with no problems.
The world should never forget that he’s the 10% Big Guy.
He’s the Big Guy that got those 81 million votes from campaigning in a Delaware basement...more than anyone else in the entire world.
He’s the Big Guy that single-handedly beat Corn Pop to a pulp...with one hand tied behind his back, mind you.
He’s the Big Guy that left a defeated Trump laying on the floor of the ThunderDome Cage.
He’s the Big Guy that’s defeating COVID and curing cancer.
He’s the Big Guy that’s staring down the evil Russians to save the Ukraine and the world.
He’s the Big Guy.... /S
