A Washington State Patrol officer who defied a statewide vaccine mandate and signed off for the last time by telling Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee to “kiss my a–” is dead from COVID-19.
Former Trooper Robert LaMay, 51, who served 22 years with the State Patrol and retired last October, died on Friday.
LaMay garnered attention from Americans across the country after he signed off for the last time as an officer and told Washington Gov. Jay Inslee he “can kiss my a–” over forced vaccine mandates.
Following LaMay’s death, Washington State Patrol Chief John R. Batiste released a statement praising him for his service, which Batiste said “will be long remembered and appreciated.”

Good question. It seems that many that are classified as died of covid may actually have died from malpractice. When a medical institution holds back known good treatments for known bad treatments, it’s malpractice and possibly murder.
What I don't get is why so many people take medical treatment they believe to be unsafe. If your doctor wants you to take something you don't want to take you have the legal right to refuse treatment, the legal right to seek a second opinion, and the legal right to discharge yourself from a hospital.

My sister is a nurse and I tell her.... “your smug medical community, particularly the docs, KNOW this damn mask is a fraud but yet, as a community of alleged professionals they continue to inflict it on all of us just...”because the CAN”.

People who support entities who fire unvaccinated people are people who support mandatory vaccination...
...They may fool themselves by trying to rationalize it in in some way, but they are exactly for mandating the shots.
And I have seen plenty of them here, right on Free Republic who think it is just fine that a entity can fire an employee on the basis of refusing an invasive medical procedure.
I believe you are conflating support for government-ordered vaccine mandates (which are unconstitutional and not supported by any Freeper I know of) with private business's decisions on how best to spend their own money. Why not let the free market sort it out? If the unvaccinated are so much healthier and more productive than the vaccinated, another company will hire them no problem and the company that fired them will have trouble finding quality employees to replace them, especially in this labor market.
I don't support the FedGov telling anyone to put something in his/her body, but I do support private property rights. Ya know, the thing that separates us from the Communists. Do you?
I don’t consider myself a Conspiracy Theorist, however the possibility exists in my mind that this could be used as a targeted bioweapon.

As I said in my post, the efficacy nor bad or good purpose of the vaccine is relevant.
The issue at stake is granting, without Constitutional backing, the government the power to acquire and embrace the legal right to use coercion to inflict a medical procedure on the citizenry for a purpose of their choosing.
People may have that discussion and agree or disagree, and it is something a free society does.
I find that taking an issue and driving a stake at both ends to delineate and encapsulate the range of the issue is sometimes useful.
In this discussion, one stake goes into the ground at the end where people submit to any medical procedure the government deems necessary for any purpose.
The other stake goes into the ground at the side where the government can never, ever use its power and resources to coerce an individual into submitting to any procedure.
Now that the stake is driven into the ground at both ends of the argument, we can discuss where along that continuum stretched between them a third stake might be reasonably driven.
It cannot be driven to close to the end where the government can do anything it wants for whatever purpose. That lies obvious tyranny. In that quarter, if a government decides there are too many people, it can legally kill people they deem as excess, or mandate forced sterilization to prevent pregnancies in their “vital efforts” to keep the population down.
And the third stake cannot be driven too near the end where the government has no power to protect the citizenry. If there were a highly contagious virus in Australia that killed 90% of the people it infected with no treatment or cure available, most people would agree that the right to freedom of movement applying to Americans returning to the US could be restricted in some way.
So the discussion is generally not that there is no option for the government to impinge on freedom and liberty, the discussion is where on that continuum does a government mandate become tyranny and where does freedom become foolhardy?
I argue that the lethality of this virus comes nowhere near the point where the government has any right to impose impositions on freedom and liberty.

The “Fox News” article links a tweet by a man claiming to have confirmed it was Covid. The replies to the tweet link the “Fox News” article. I guess that’s proof enough to justify mocking the dead.

Talked to a nurse yesterday who said her HEALTHY 33 year old son now has heart problems after getting the jab. She said she would NEVER get the jab. She’s seen too much.
I’m sure he went thru the death protocols....that’s how they’re doing it....

I understand the point you make completely. However, I don’t feel I am conflating it at all, especially given the line of work I am in.
I work in a hospital, which operates under federal (CMS, CDC, NIH, etc) and state rules and procedures in many cases.
The Federal government has tried, in the most fascistic of manners, to force all industry, not just hospitals, to mandate mask and vaccine mandates. They knew, early on in the Biden Administration, that doing this was not going to work, because on the face of it, is is unconstitutional to force it, especially from the Federal government.
They knew that if the Federal government mandated it, that it would be one suit that could take out the entire thing. So they didn’t go that route. They put all their eggs into the states to mandate or not basket, and further said it was up to individual companies to do it and they have been working hand in hand with states and individual companies to force mandates.
The scumbags from Biden on down bragged openly about taking this non-federal approach. It isn’t just water finding its own level. It is being steered.
Very fascist, the forcing of businesses to cater to the needs of the federal government, with who knows what carrots and sticks.
They know that if they force it down to the State and corporate level, instead of one lawsuit over mandates that can be upheld in the Supreme Court and cut the legs out of all mandates, they will have thousands of lawsuits over thousands of mandates, and while some mandates might be knocked down, many would go on in legal battles, or never even be contested.
In medicine, they go a step further. They issue CDC and CMS guidelines, and medical organizations create treatment algorithms and polices based on those. Deviate from those and you expose not only yourself but your organization to legal action from patients who would go into a courtroom after a bad outcome and point at the policies and procedures that were deviated from. So they make clinicians loathe to deviate. Further, they leverage state medical boards as California has, to threaten to revoke the licenses to practice medicine of any clinician who prescribes Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine.
This issue has consumed me for going on eight months now due to a vaccine mandate I am living under. I am losing sleep over it, and my deadline is coming up in March.
And the cult rejoiced!
