This storm has very different effects depending on exactly where you live—that is why any headlines are highly misleading.
Here is NW CT it looks like the wind is going to be a bigger factor than the snow—whatever snow we do get is going to be light and fluffy and blow all over the place.
Thank you.....not sure what posters here expect....but depth of snow is not so much the danger as is the blizzard conditions....and temperatures.
I have sunshine here in W. Pa but warning for frostbite with the temps and wind. We were at 4 degrees this morning.
Ours is already blowing everywhere (in some places leaving the ground visible) but we’ve been warned that winds later will be an issue.
They just always seem to incline towards disaster when forecasting, and people no longer rely on them.
