It hit the sides of the buildings, so that they looked like the ground. I remember one storm like that, and our front door was completely blocked; but if we went out the back door there was no problem. Crazy.
Recalling my first visit to Chicago for a company convention.......learned real fast why they call Chicago ‘The Windy City”..temps sooo cold you thought you were in the Tundra!
