If I were a kid...that would be fun.
BTTT
Wonder if the vax mandate for public employees will still seem such a dandy idea in a few hours...
Bet they saw Joe Bastardi's forecast...
20 miles northwest of Portland, Maine. Just started, small flakes, supposed to total 11 inches by the time it’s done. Not very windy yet. I could easily do a grocery trip before the precipitation kicks in.
More reports later. I don;t expect an unusual storm. Last week was rain on top of snow, miserable. I expect this to be easier to manage.
I was promised mangos and bananas grown in Maine. What happened to global warming?
Here in Southern Connecticut it is just your routine winter storm. 7-10 inches. Glad it’s a Saturday and I have nowhere to go. Nothing fun about driving in it even with four wheel drive. It’s the other drivers you have to watch out for.
Can we call it winter storm Ken for short?
Or is that not woke enough?
Retards.
It’s January
It’s New England
It’s snowing
Okay.
There are several tasks/errands I can easily procrastinate about today.
I feel, however, that since it's Saturday - and I am
procrastinating about non-fun tasks anyway - that now is the
time to break out the waffle iron (first time this new year),
and make some home-made blueberry waffles.
Who votes YES on the waffles? All votes count (HERE anyway).
(No waffling on this waffle decision, now...)
....Maryland activated National Guard troops.
There’s an inch of snow in the Baltimore area.
Getting too old for this. I should be in Tucson with one of my kids.
Kenan? Really?
Ugh

They are WOKE anyway
The Weather Channel announced Friday it will no longer use the term “Dixie Alley” on its television network. The term describes a region of the Southern USA that’s prone to deadly tornado outbreaks.
“Effective immediately, we will discontinue use of the racially-insensitive term ‘Dixie Alley’ – and I call on others in the industry to do the same,” Byron Allen –
