This storm has very different effects depending on exactly where you live—that is why any headlines are highly misleading.
Here is NW CT it looks like the wind is going to be a bigger factor than the snow—whatever snow we do get is going to be light and fluffy and blow all over the place.
There’s a difference between a snowstorm and a blizzard.....these are conditions for a blizzard as this thing gains power over states.
It’s just beginning and has hours to go...but looks like the coast is going to get it hard.
Waffles....
🤤
I’m right in the next town from where that video is being streamed. A student of mine lives in one of those houses.
I guess she won’t be having her bass lesson on Monday.
I guess salt damage is not much a concern!
....Maryland activated National Guard troops.
There’s an inch of snow in the Baltimore area.
Thank you.....not sure what posters here expect....but depth of snow is not so much the danger as is the blizzard conditions....and temperatures.
I have sunshine here in W. Pa but warning for frostbite with the temps and wind. We were at 4 degrees this morning.
I just moved to Indiana from maryland last month, “ blue to Red “ looking forward to the storm next week. Concealed carry here I come !!!!!!
Pretty amazing video isn’t it.....Can you imagine living in one of those houses!
Amen to that. “ the other drivers”
This would be great.
Wild video isn’t it.......can you imagine the ice buildup if the temps drop there?

Device is now off the shelf, wipe it down, plug it in -
see if light comes on...
Well it’s just beginning so we’ll have to see how bad it gets. Some places already lost power for the winds. Not a good thing when temps are what they are.
Very little snow so far @ Lake Winnipesaukee, but very windy.
Welcome to the state. Head upnorth for the Amish food and great fishing in the north east.
Thanks! His car is getting a heavy salt water bath.
Being closer to the coast can make a big difference. Not so much with this storm, it’s pretty well below 32F. But last week I got more than half a foot of light stuff, topped by an inch of rain. 15 miles closer to the coast was nearly all rain.
Still “mild” (at least not wild) here. Occasional gust, and just dust for snow accumulation.
Getting too old for this. I should be in Tucson with one of my kids.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSS.
