Russia keeping China in the loop on US talks, Moscow’s envoy says

Chinese side regularly informed of the talks’ content and progress, Andrey Denisov says

Putin’s Winter Olympics trip could also yield a ‘surprise’ for ties between the two countries

Moscow constantly updates Beijing on progress in security talks between the US and Russia, even though China is not related to the talks, the Russian envoy to Beijing said on Tuesday.

“Russia has recently started talks and meetings with the United States and Nato countries about giving Russia security assurances, but these talks are not related to China,” Russian ambassador to China Andrey Denisov said at the Russian embassy in Beijing.

Denisov said the Chinese side was regularly informed of the talks’ content and progress, and “our Chinese friends are paying close attention to the talks”.

China Backs Russia Against Ukraine, NATO
BY JOHN FENG ON 1/26/22 AT 11:21 AM EST

(excerpted)

In Beijing, Zhao spoke disparagingly of the alliance as a “Cold War remnant.”

He said: “As the world’s largest military alliance, NATO should abandon the outdated Cold War mentality and ideological bias, and do things that are conducive to upholding peace and stability.”

“China firmly opposes all kinds of small cliques,” he added, before calling on parties to “fully consider each other’s legitimate security concerns, avoid antagonism and confrontation, and properly address differences and disputes through equal consultation on the basis of mutual respect.”

Driven to be together by Democrat foreign and domestic policy.

We’re going to fall behind in space and in 15 years we will be surrendering because China built kinetic launch platforms in high orbit or on the Moon.

China sides with Russia’s ‘security concerns’ in standoff with US, NATO over Ukraine
By Mark Moore

China’s foreign minister, Wang Yi, relayed the same message to Secretary of State Antony Blinken in a phone call Wednesday in which Wang backed Putin’s rationale for Russia’s massive military buildup along Ukraine’s border.

According to a Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement, Beijing’s top diplomat initially reminded Blinken of the need for “all parties to remain calm and refrain from inflaming tensions or hyping the crisis.”

Wang also called for the “Cold War mentality” to be abandoned in order to establish “a balanced, effective and sustainable European security mechanism through negotiations, with Russia’s legitimate security concerns being taken seriously and addressed.”

At that point, the Chinese readout indicates, Wang appeared to veer into advocating for Putin’s argument that Russia is only responding to aggression from the US and its European allies.

“The security of one country should not be at the expense of the security of others, and regional security should not be guaranteed by strengthening or even expanding military blocs,” Wang said.

Why Russia and China Build Up Iran
Though vulnerable, Tehran is the ideal Middle East partner in an alliance to destroy the U.S.-led order.
https://www.wsj.com/articles/why-russia-and-china-build-up-iran-biden-administration-foreign-relations-nuclear-negotiations-11643317565

The Ukraine crisis exposes a flaw in President Biden’s Iran strategy. Washington engages with Beijing and Moscow as if they share core U.S. interests with respect to Iran, when instead they are working with Tehran to undermine the American-led global order.

That’s certainly what officials in Tehran are saying. Last Wednesday, Mahmoud Abbaszadeh-Meshkini, a spokesman for the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said: “In the new world order, a triangle consisting of three powers—Iran, Russia, and China—has formed.” He was clear about the goal: “This new arrangement heralds the end of the inequitable hegemony of the United States and the West.”

The Biden team isn’t listening. Last Friday Secretary of State Antony Blinken met in Geneva with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who proposed an interim deal to break the deadlock in the Iranian nuclear negotiations. “Russia shares our sense of urgency,” Mr. Blinken said, “and we hope that Russia will use the influence . . . it has with Iran to impress upon Iran that sense of urgency.”

As Mr. Blinken spoke, Russia was holding joint naval drills with China and Iran in the Indian Ocean. The day before, President Vladimir Putin hosted Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in Moscow. In a speech before the Duma, Mr. Raisi discussed “Resistance”—the movement Iran leads to destroy the U.S.-led order in the Middle East.

Biden’s regime is destroying the entire world order.

I have witnessed foreign policy mistakes in my lifetime, but this goes way beyond mistakes or incompetency.

The United States isn’t in Revelation as they say.

The regime has resurrected the world wide communist monolith, as both Russia and China prepare to feast on the American carcass.
