POLL: 17 percent see path to reinstate Trump before next election

Roughly 1 in 6 Americans believe there may be a path to replace President Biden with former President Trump before the next presidential election in 2024, according to a new Monmouth University poll released on Thursday.

Seventeen percent say that they still see a path to reinstating the former president sometime in the next 2 1/2 years, despite Trump losing both the popular and Electoral College votes to Biden in the 2020 presidential election. Six percent say they “definitely” see a path to replacing Biden with Trump, while 11 percent say there “probably” is.

There’s no legal way for Trump to be reinstated as president before 2024. The U.S. Constitution doesn’t provide for such a possibility, and even if Biden were to somehow be removed from office, Vice President Harris would be next in line for the presidency.

The vast majority of those surveyed in the Monmouth poll — 77 percent — say there’s not a path for Trump to be reinstalled in the White House before the next presidential election, including 56 percent who say that’s “definitely not” a possibility.

I would probably answer that question in the affirmative just for fun

Well, let’s see: 17% of our guys think there’s a way that Trump can be reinstated. 18% of their guys in polls characterize themselves as “strongly approve” of Biden’s job performance. Proving once again we have fewer imbeciles than they do. I feel pretty good about that

“There’s no legal way for Trump to be reinstated as president before 2024. The U.S. Constitution doesn’t provide for such a possibility…”

Sure it does.

Not that it will happen, but if Trump was named Speaker of the House and Biden & Kamala were impeached he’s in.

Not gonna happen though.

That path is very clear. I’ll pick just one instance:
Biden has, under color of authority, violated immigration law and child trafficking laws. Kamal Harris was appointed Border Tsar or some such lunacy. They both should be arrested today this moment in time, but we should wait until the next election and after we take the House, appoint Trump as Speaker, then arrest them both.

See my number 3. I don’t mean you because—- I hate to say it—- I think you cheated. Reinstatement, I think, implies a resumption of his presidency. He fulfilled a full term, so it would involve a determination that he should commence his second term because he really was the elected winner in 2020. I don’t think becoming president the way you point to, or by winning another term in a new election, constitutes reinstatement, at least not in the sense Mike Lindell rather improvidently tossed it around

It’s about the same probability as Salma Hayek divorcing her billionaire husband and calling me for a date.

Theoretically possible, but a definite longshot.

We don’t need that or decertification, we just need audits to show how it was stolen.

Besides the impeachment idea there is this. If enough states decertify, Joe and Blow are out? The speaker is in?

I would like to see one.

I guess I don’t have the right mind altering substances.

We’re stuck with Senile Joe unless somebody has video of Joe saying they have the most comprehensive vote fraud organization ever........

Without Trump trying to do this via the Speaker of the House route, which he won’t lend any credence to ever happening, there is literally no chance he can be reinstated before 2024. He seems content to have a few rallies and work on his new media company, for now, maybe even from here on.

“we just need audits to show how it was stolen”

And when you have that, you decertify.
