Moscow has put what appear to be final preparations for an invasion of Ukraine by sending medical units to the front, moving to a level of readiness that it hadn’t reached in past buildups, according Western defense officials.
While the moves don’t mean an attack is certain, they are prerequisites for battle and have intensified debates among Western allies over Russian President Vladimir Putin’s intentions. The U.S. and European allies, particularly Germany and France, appear to be drawing different conclusions from identical intelligence.

But—what is the Russian Navy doing? 220 ships left port in St. Petersburg for the North Atlantic. Why? They said they were going to Ireland. The game is still on. Its a 19th Century game and one that may knock the World Order into a cocked hat. Our ships can’t leave port because so many sailors have Covid or refuse to get the shot. We may not know what happened until the lights go out!
Irish fishing boats threatened to interrupt the naval exercises. Doesn’t sound like the brightest idea.
Part of me thinks that this whole Russian posturing thing at Ukraine is just a giant feint to tweak the feeble brain of our pres and to surveil our defenses....just like the “we’re out of water message from Midway, 1942. Sure, it could be real war prep. Maybe Putin is just attention-starved. Maybe he is trying to extract concessions from the US, after all, we’ll shower any piece of crap country with tens or hundreds of $millions...just ask! I can’t see why he’d want to start an incursion, but I can’t pretend to even partially understand his motives.
Or maybe it’s not actually happening at all.
Nothing will happen until after the Beijing Olympics. Asian culture is all about ‘face’. Beijing wants to show how ‘civilized’ it is, as it hosts the Olympics.
Thereafter, all bets are off! Expect Russian invasion of the Ukraine, along with a simultaneous Chinese attack on Taiwan, and possibly an Iranian attack on Israel. WW3, here we come!
In the end, ALL gubmints lose but Jesus and His people win, for Eternity!

The Rasputitsa, or muddy season, is a very unlikely time for an attack. Putin either attacks very soon indeed, while he has a few weeks of frozen ground, or not until June, when the ground has dried.
But, you and Biden relish a Russian-Ukrainian war. The thought of one is better the Viagra.
If war is avoided, everyone will be happy.
If war comes, I want Russia to lose.
