China’s Population Growth Drops To 60-Year Low, With More Deaths Than Births
India today ^ | 19 January 2022 | Monitor khanna

China saw 10.62 million births in 2021 -- approximate 7.25 per thousand people -- and also saw 10.14 million deaths in the same year, putting it at a mortality rate of 7.18 per thousand and amounting to a population growth rate of just 0.34 per thousand

As per the national data, this growth rate is the lowest since 1960. The birth rate has dropped for the fifth year in a row and according to demographers estimate, the total fertility rate has dropped to 1.15, which is lower than the replacement rate of 2

The proportion of individuals over the age of 60 in China has risen from 18.7 in 2020 to 18.9 in 2021.

The census data that was revealed last year in May revealed an average annual rise of 0.53 percent, which was down from 0.57 percent during the duration of 2000 to 2010.

China’s population growth rate has dropped to its lowest level in six decades barely over the number of deaths in 2021

...The Chinese government has often promoted population control however, recently it has flipped its strategy looking at the massive drop in birth rate. The one-child policy in China was shut down in 2016, permitting couples to have two kids and last year, the limit was pushed to having three children

It’s a lot easier to force people to have fewer children than to get them to increase the sized of their families. China’s demographic imbalance is going to make them militarily toothless in a generation or two.

Good luck with that now that one-child-per-family is now ingrained into Chinese culture.

The one child ppolicy was implemented because China is a totalitarian dictatorship. They compelled people to adhere to the policy. One wonders if they could somehow induce or compel people to have more children.

For example, a totalitarian regime could ban birth control, or decree policies which give financial benefits to three child families.

Their plan was to boost their young population by ending the one child policy while killing off the older population with Covid. Hasn’t quite worked out that way.

Need to export more American males. Seems sex is the most important in their miserable lives. Most would hump a tree if there was nothing else

So the Chinese manufacturing sector, with future labor limitations, won’t be bailing us out in our “woke import dependent dystopia.”

What’s the excuse for our unwritten “no child policy?” At least the Chinese can say “it was government intervention.”

Our current birth rate to death rate is a demographic bomb, with huge repercussions on future growth & wealth.
So talking about foreigners with problems makes us feel good in the short term, but isn’t going to alleviate our own labor supply problems.

Our own reproductive rate started it's steep decline in the late 50's, some 65 years ago. Our "working age" population is going to directly follow that decline over at least the next 4 or 5 decades unless people either "get busy" or we encourage mass immigration. The path we have chosen thus far is pretty obvious.

Notice they never talk about the abortion rate in China? It’s assumed to be very high, as you cannot have children out of wedlock. And Chinese sex education is a joke.

I saw one article about 6 months ago, suggesting that China's population will be cut by 50% in 20 years because of the dearth of babies in the last 30 to 40 years. Deaths over the number of births will be commonplace and continue to accelerate each year and there is nothing China can do about it right now. Since very few people move there every year, it's too late.

China is already having an issue finding enough workers and it will only get worse. China will be lashing out trying to survive. It's going to get uglier than it is now.

Lack of males is not the problem. The fact that Chyna has either aborted or exported the majority of the female babies is the problem.

“The path we have chosen thus far is pretty obvious.”

I don’t have a problem with reasonable immigration that adds value, labor, capital, & wealth to our nation.
However, immigration isn’t an unlimited panacea for our nation. It has its limitations, especially when every country wants to imitate our success, so immigrant labor is poached by other nations.

Here are a few reasons why immigration may be unreliable in the future.

1) Global wealth creation in other nations creates satisfaction, that satisfaction means no need to immigrate to “greener pastures.”

2) High Valuations in real estate, education, health care, legal services, etc, make moving from a low cost country to a high cost nation less appealing. We’re a high cost and high asset country in 2022.

3) Warfare, Famine, Bad Government, & Bad Business Practices are prime motivators for people to uproot. Any decline in these issues will help dry up immigration.

4) The focus on immigration policy detracts from the domestic fact, that people need to “get busy” about producing descendants & a future generation of labor & capital. If current trends prevail, we may be looking at declining wealth & power just like the Roman Empire in its descent.

The answer to our problem can only be solved by the one group of individuals with the proper biology to alleviate low birth rates.

“The female gender of child bearing age in the United States,” needs higher reproductive rates or our nation will decline accordingly. There aren’t enough immigrants or octomoms to bail us out of this mess.

The CCP virus was well planned by both governments and non-goverment “elites” to do a number of things and that was one. Not just in China, but all over the world.

or they can just force men and women to “get it on” in “controlled” environments where the govt watches the men make their deposits.

There are three types of people in the world.

Those who can count and those who can’t.
