Apparently Trudeau told the truckers & ordinary people who like to eat to go to hell.
Prayers up for all involved in the protest! Prayers up for PRC (Politically Repressive Canada). Prayers up that the sheeple of PRC realize how badly they are being rolled by Prime Mistake True-dolt, and ‘fix the problem’ next election, or some other way!
I pray these truckers hold their ground, and Trudeau and his silly soy boy socks can take a hike. I’d love to see him removed from office.
Trudeau calls the Truckers, “Terrorists “ for protesting.
Speaks volumes about who these power trippers really are, doesn’t it?
And how frantic and insecure they really are when their power is challenged.
To me this is journalism. Who, what, where, why, and when. Informative as good journalism is supposed to be. Yes it’s opinion, but it’s news. Well done.
Boy I wish them luck. I worked up in Canada for 4 years many decades ago and the description of true Canadians by the writer is banana on. Great warm hearted people. Like Americans the further from the cities the nicer they are.
Humble… compared to whom? I’ve been making $8,000 a week for the last six months. That’s to the house. My suggestion if you’re a lawyer? Get a CDL.
“for anyone who has a functioning brain and can walk and chew gum...”
That leaves the left out
“Humble truck drivers could be the ones who finally liberate Canada from Trudeau’s COVID tyranny”
Humble is 1500 miles south of Canada. I doubt truckers there are involved in the protest, much less enough to make a difference.
Agreed!
.
Love this!
This a wake-up call perhaps that the people can have leverage power over the tyrants when they unite against them and stay strong. I hope the truckers stay strong.
I don’t think it matters. Most of the population is in Toronto - Montreal. So the only card left would be for the Western Provinces to secede. But they will never do that. They’re Canadians, remember? So they’ll ***ch and moan all they want. But Justin Trudeau is in charge.
Whoever wrote this fails to understand that Canada is a federal state and the COVID policies are determined mainly at the provincial level. There is no “tyranny of Justin Trudeau,” but ten different provincial regimes of varying severity (the three territories also have their own elected governments but the feds call more of the shots there).
So the truck drivers are doing a good thing in symbolic terms but in strategic terms, they will have little effect because decisions are being made by ten different governments with varying degrees of paranoia at this point in time. Border decisions are also being made largely by the provincial premiers acting in concert and Trudeau is just following the consensus of what they are saying they want. I don’t think he’s leading anything, and if the provinces signal that they want out of the restrictions, then the restrictions will end. That is the reality up here. I hope a bunch of U.S. truckers aren’t wasting their time barking up the wrong tree.
I should add that U.S. truckers are said to be joining the convoy which is great but I think the pressure needs to be applied more to the PROVINCIAL governments. They will find out when they get to Ottawa that they are in the wrong place. Toronto or Victoria BC might have been better destinations for this protest.
