These teachers have no right or business trying to influence an 11 year old on gender issues especially deliberately concealing from parents. The teachers should get fired and prosecuted as well as all the school administrators.

Why public school? Get real, most people do not have a choice, thus we must fix these schools and not just say go to private or homeschool.

Case in point, local private schools here in Reno are $15-20K per student per school year. Not many people can afford that cost.

Homeschool? First, that means one or both parents need to stay home. Second, they need the education, skills, and patience to teach their kids. Most parents work. Very few can realistically homeschool, especially past the first couple of grades.

So, we're back to having to fix the schools for our kids, our community, and our country.
