The trial will begin this week in former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s (R) defamation case against The New York Times over a corrected editorial linking her to "political incitement."
Palin’s case is set to be heard in a Manhattan federal court beginning Monday, where the former vice presidential candidate will try and convince jurors that the newspaper and its former editorial page editor James Bennet defamed her in an opinion piece, according to Reuters.

Problem is, NYC jury.
Not only were the “bullseyes” on Palin’s map typical of the symbols then used on political maps to denote key states with toss-up elections, but there was no evidence that the Arizona shooter was a Palin supporter or had ever even been to her website.
Why isn’t this case held in Alaska?
The typical Slimes employee needs to get out more.
Palin is a ‘public’ figure so that in itself will make the case a lose for Palin. NYT apologized, so stunned this case was resurrected.

Only think I can think of is that she has some kind of smoking gun “actual malice” evidence.
It’s nearly impossible for public figures to win libel cases.
Not much chance of victory with a jury from NYC...

Your overly-vivid metaphor is not appropriately matched by political leanings.
Conservatives do not engage in anal sex or rape of any kind. When called upon, we may use force (including lethal force) to stop such crimes. Anal rape is what the left does or attempts to do.
Conservatives minimally wish to stop the assaults, but if they happen we merely seek to castrate the rapists, or put them out of everyone’s misery.
I’d settle for de-barking NYT.
The only thing that liberals like the NYT respond to is complete brutality that destroys them. Anything less dished out to them is considered a win for them. The “high road” is something that the NYT and Muslims do not respect.
So, castration is not brutal enough?
Only if it is done without anesthesia and the use of alcohol and silver nitrate to the open wound.
