If Russia launches a further invasion of Ukraine, as U.S. officials increasingly fear, its advance deeper into the country is likely to be complemented by missile salvos that would turn the skies above Kyiv, Ukraine, into an effective no-go zone: using short-range missiles to knock out Ukraine’s runways, airports, and fighters on the ground.
In fact, Russia already appears to be sending its Iskander missiles—precision-guided munitions the Russian military has fired in Syria—to the front lines, covered in tarps, according to videos revealed on TikTok this week. Weapons experts were able to discern the contours of the Iskander missiles from under the tarp.
The Iskander, which replaced the obsolete Tochka system at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, isn’t your grandfather’s fixed missile battery. It can be fired from the back of a modified truck bed and is accurate to within 30 feet when it’s hooked up to the latest suite of Russian radar systems.

The whole article is fear porn.
If anyone thinks that the Ukraine is Putin’s only target, they’re sorely mistaken. Ukraine is but the first target in
the long process of rebuilding the old Soviet Union. It is the most opportune time for Putin now that he has to deal with Biden and not a Trump.
OOOH, Destructive missiles!!!
That never happened before; Before the Russian - Ukraine debacle came along, missiles were so constructive and pleasant to have falling upon your towns..
Not one American life should be placed at risk, especially under the tard-resident.
Stalin’s Organ.
The whole article is total BS. Don’t be that guy who believes the deepstate propaganda.
It is a bit hyped but I think the warnings need to be made because, let's face it, do we really want to pay the brutal cost of a war with Russia for what we would gain against what we could potentially lose?
I don't think the mental midgets leading our country can perform a deliberate Cost Risk/Uncertainty Analysis and we will flounder around into war that may have catastrophic consequences and no wins at the end of it.
Has anyone on this forum heard American leader ship spell out exactly what we hope to gain by this risky venture? WTF do we hope to gain by this other than as a distraction/wag the dog effort by the Biden Administration to distract from their systemic and epic failures?
It is a well known political maxim that a national leader who is weak at home will often start a war to keep power and that is likely what we are seeing here.
All the Ukrainian insurgency needs are a few thousand sniper rifles and a few thousand road side bombs.
Russians will die, die, die.

“It is a well known political maxim that a national leader who is weak at home will often start a war to keep power and that is likely what we are seeing here.”
Yep, that statement fits PUTIN.
Malaysia Airlines had better reroute.
So are you are trying to imply that Biden isn't in deep doodoo with a majority of the American public? Wow, DU is missing an idiot.
European problem, not an American problem.
I don’t think you understand what is happening.
Biden has no intentions of going to war. He has stated that Ukraine is not a NATO nation and the US will not fight Russia over Ukraine. He has stated his response will be sanctions on Russia and arms to Ukraine and funding a CIA backed insurgency.
Biden isn’t taking us to war. Putin is the one who is starting a war. Russian real disposable income is lower today than in 2014. 7 years with no gains. Putin is the weak leader here.
