War on Single Family Homes Continues in San Francisco as Advocacy Group Sues to Demand Multi-Unit Housing
Breitbart ^ | 01/22/2021 | Penny Starr

Though the majority of people aspire to having a single family home in a safe and pleasant suburban neighborhood, activists are taking legal action to force density by inserting multi-unit housing in San Francisco, California.

The legal arm of a group favoring housing density filed suit claiming city officials violated laws by halting the construction of a 469-unit housing project in a tower near Sixth and Market streets.

Good, I hope all the big cities do this. It will support the price of housing in livable areas and productive people will continue to gravitate away from the liberal hell-holes, weakening their political power.

Yes - Dims prefer and need people living on top of each other. The greater density breeds demands for more government services and for the lower economic classes more government subsidies (because it always costs the poor too much to live in such places without subsidies).

construction of a 469-unit housing project

California, looking to build the largest collection of slums in the world, solving the homeless crisis, the inner city crisis, the drug crisis, the Ho crisis - so many crisis solved that the world-famous slums of Bombay and Rio de Janeiro will be very jealous.

Free homes for all, just cross the US southern border.

When an outside party sues a local government there is about a 90% chance the fix is in. That is, the local government wants to make the changes but are afraid of the voters.

Losing a court case is one way the left gets their way without having the support of the voters.

The ultimate goal is to put everyone in the same miserable units. Except for the ruling elite, environmental celebrities and donors to the democrat party. They will reside in mansions while they throw crumbs to the peasants that they hate.

“The first to leave will be the well to do Rats, who will infest your livable areas.”

That’s not the pattern I’ve seen but it’s a very popular fantasy. One example, I have a wealthy very liberal cousin who grew up in MA, second most liberal state in the USA. He moved to San Fran for some years, realized it was falling apart and he needed to get out. Where did he move? Boulder, CO, and he’s happy as a clam, even though it was his grocery store that got shot up awhile back.

There aren’t enough liberals to move everywhere and take over, and if there are, they deserve to take over since they would be the majority of the country.

But liberals are nowhere near the majority of the country and they tend avoid conservative areas.

What percentage of the population is liberal? Are they a majority of America?

Indeed! The Chicago, NYC, LA and Philadelphia projects were just the first stage of the transformation envisioned by the utopian intellectuals among us. For some interesting background reading on the subject, try:

I disagree. Libs and illegals ruined the once Republican state of California. Then the freaks of San Francisco moved into the NW ruining WA and Oregon. Colorado was once a red state now overrun with libs from other states. Libs take over major cities in red states and next thing the vote fix is in. Now libs are aiming for Texas and Georgia. They’re poison everywhere they land.
Your cousin went from blue state to blue city in a formally red state to another blue city in a formerly red state.

All of us living in red states need to let it be known we do NOT want the fools who ruined places like California moving to our cities.

I was born and raised in San Francisco, a much gentler place over 70 years ago (and Republican at that). Large number of empty lots everywhere, and unpaved streets. It was a great place for kids to play outside. Now all those empty lots are gone, built over with apartment complexes and all the quaint unpaved dirt streets are now paved; formerly empty hills are now covered with homes and apartments. Streets that formerly had parallel parking with many open spots now have diagonal parking and open spots are never found. Streets are crowded with traffic and noise. I got out in the 1970's when crowding and thievery were escalating.

Stack a lot of rats in a confined space and you get stress.

And of course forced electric cars. That’ll be fun preparing a 469 unit apartment building for the electrical loading required at about 6pm when everyone gets off work, charges their car (they gonna build a parking garage with chargers?) turns on their oven and stove to cook dinner, turns on the electric furnace, then the TV.
