Needed for whom??? The 90%+ of the population to whom Omicron is not fatal. Better that 90%+ get their minor Omicron illness, their own antibodies developed and make their contribution to herd immunity naturally.

Leave the booster shots for the very elderly, in nursing homes or not, the obese and other folks with comorbidity issues that complicate a Covid19 illness. The advanced age and comorbidity factors make for compromised immune systems and it is such systems, not the generally healthy, that might need the “booster shots”. However, anecdotally, I had a 95 year old friend who survived a Covid19 illness in the summer of 2020 and died in late 2020 from other causes. Even not everyone in an advanced age is necessarily Covid19 vulnerable, though statistically that group demonstrates greater risk, which is why a “booster” could be considered useful for them (though I have my own doubts about the MRna vaccine approach we are all current lab rats for).

Your "guesstimate" is a little low, FRiend!

Not even in its most-virulent phase was COVID-19 that deadly! And Omicron is considered a flyweight, in comparison.
