January 2022 marks the 18th Annual National Stalking Awareness Month. We have this awareness month due to one of the authors of this opinion piece, Debbie Riddle. Debbie’s youngest sister, Peggy Klinke, was brutally murdered by her ex-boyfriend/stalker on January 18, 2003. Peggy’s stalker killed himself immediately afterward. Less than six months later, Debbie – in collaboration with other national stakeholders – successfully launched National Stalking Awareness Month.
The second author of this opinion piece is Nikki Goeser. Nikki’s husband, Ben, was murdered in front of her by her stalker on April 2, 2009. Nikki’s stalker has been incarcerated since then, but he has continued over many years to stalk her from prison via twisted love letters to her. Unfortunately, her stalker is currently set to be released from prison early in 2028. In addition, Nikki helped get a Lifetime Order of Protection Law established in her state of Tennessee in 2021 for victims of violent crime.
So what exactly is stalking? Stalking is a pattern of repeated, unwanted behavior toward a specific person, which would cause any reasonable person to feel fearful, intimidated, or harassed.

Stalk the stalker and make it as uncomfortable for them....a few tricks here and there might do it. Too many are victims but there are ways to fight back without breaking laws.
Which will do nothing for her once the vermin is released from prison.
Beings like that are why the death penalty is necessary.
It’s not about revenge. It’s about protecting people and society from the irredeemable among us.
FWIW, God established the death penalty for murder very early on in human history. It does not violate the *Thou shalt not murder* commandment when carried out by the governing authorities.
How about a bullet redirected toward the stalkers head
Somewhat unsafe for work, or delicate ears, but this is a brilliant way to handle it. :)

The problem is that making stalking illegal would make a lot of government activity illegal.
I was being followed in a mall...and even into the parking lot....so I drove straight to the State Police station. That ended that right then.
Others are likely persistent but I often think they like the idea it’s upsetting to the people so don’t give them that. Change your phone number and enlist it. And other things to protect yourself.
Only if they’re breaking and entering. Otherwise it’ll cost you.
My sister was being stalked years ago. I gave her 2 pieces of advice.
1) when you get the stalker on the phone, preach the gospel to him. This was in the days before cell phones and immediate knowing who it is on the other end of the line.
2) buy a gun. It’s a fast, cheap way to feel more secure.
That advice about preaching the gospel to stalkers has worked several times with different women.
That’s a good one about preaching.
BTW....using a whistle and blow their eardrums off also works.
The Three S’s seem to have better application in some of these situations.
